➡️ About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer to join our Bucharest team. In this critical role, you will integrate robust security practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that our solutions remain secure, scalable, and efficient. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and continuously optimize our DevOps pipeline.

➡️ Key Responsibilities

✅ Design, Implement & Maintain: Develop comprehensive security measures throughout the DevOps pipeline.

✅ Automate Security Testing: Integrate tools such as Checkmarx (or similar) to proactively detect and mitigate vulnerabilities.

✅ Containerization & Cloud Security: Deploy and manage container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) and monitor cloud environments (primarily Azure, with experience in AWS and GCP as a plus).

✅ Secure Coding & Reviews: Provide guidance on secure coding practices and conduct regular security audits.

✅ Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies to ensure our solutions are always ahead of potential risks.

✅ Agile Collaboration: Work in an Agile environment to deliver secure, reliable solutions efficiently.

➡️ Requirements

✔️Location: Bucharest, Romania.

✔️ Working Arrangement: Hybrid – initially 2 days per week in the office (for the first 6 months); fully remote may be considered thereafter.

✔️ Engagement Type: Employee or B2B (SRL).

✔️ Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the field.
- At least 2 years of experience implementing security measures within DevOps processes.

✔️ Technical Skills:

- Strong programming and back-end web development capabilities.

- Proficiency in using vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Checkmarx or similar).

- Experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure; experience with AWS and GCP is a plus.

✔️ Cybersecurity Knowledge: Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

- Language: Fluent in English (both written and verbal).

✔️ Nice to Have

- Certifications in cybersecurity, DevOps, or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
