We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants for our client in Ireland, working in Community Residential Services.

Locations: Wicklow, Kildare, Dublin, Louth, Meath & Cavan

Positions have become available for suitably qualified healthcare professionals to work as Healthcare Assistants working in community residential services.

Candidates should possess a EU recognized healthcare qualification such as a diploma or degree in nursing, healthcare assistance, or a related field.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care and support to young adults and adults in order to maximize their independence and meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.

➡️ The key responsibilities of this role include:

✔️ Supporting service users in daily tasks such as personal care, medication, mealtimes, activities of daily living, etc.
✔️ Efficiently implement care plans for each service user.
✔️ Provide companionship and support with social activities.
✔️ Work to promote the health and well-being of clients.

➡️ Role requirements:

- Good working level of English – understanding, spoken and writing.

- you will be a qualified nurse/caregiver/healthcare assistant and/or hold a relevant healthcare qualification equivalent to a QQI Level 5 in Social Care or Healthcare.

- Candidates must have a genuine interest in working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Medical needs.

- minimum 1 year of experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Nursing Homes or Care Homes.
- Prior experience working in community residential services, especially with young adults and adults with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism and special needs is advantageous but not essential.
- European drivers licence is advantageous but not essential.

Successful candidates will be offered the following package:

✅ Permanent Full Time Contract of Employment

✅ Guarantee of 40 hours per week, with overtime hours available

✅ Typical shift patterns (day shifts, night shifts, weekends)Care is 24 / 7. So shifts will be a mix of the normal days, nights across 7 days as per usual with healthcare

✅ Sunday and Public Holiday Premiums paid

✅ Immediate work placement on arrival to Ireland.

✅ Salary:
•       Rate €17.15 per Hour ( for candidates with previous working experience )

•       Estimated Netto salart/ month: €2.500 Net/ months (40 hours/ week)

✅ Travel Reimbursement up to €500. Reimbursed within first 2 weeks of arrival in Ireland.

✅ Meet and greet service at Dublin airport by a member of our Support Team on arrival and transport to accommodation

✅ Accommodation provided for first 3 months on arrival to Ireland.

Allowance up to €1000 per month & €3000 max cap. Accommodation is arranged by the employer..

✅ 4 working weeks paid annual leave

✅ Full orientation, induction and mentoring program, including local Liaison Officers to support with commencement of your employment.

➡️ Contract:

- This is a Permanent Full Time Contract of Employment.

- Term of Contract; 2 years. After which, your contract is renewable.

- Probatory period= 6 months

- Valid police clearance certificate from your home state / country.
- Successful Garda Vetting ( Irish Police )
- Medical Declaration – Any Medical Conditions to be declared at interview.
- Two written references, one which must be from current employer, and one from previous employer.
