North East Durham, County Durham
the Practice has served the city centre population since 1900. The University Health Service began in 1965, originally to cover the student body but later expanded to include staff and their families. In 1999 the Medical Centre and the University Health Centre merged to become one practice. The list size currently stands at circa 30,000 patients, approximately half of which are University students.
North East Chester-le-Street, Tyne & Wear
A rural Practice that serves a large geographical area taking in many remote locations and smaller villages. This practice is at the centre of a community that sees its local GP as a cornerstone of society. Experience dealing with multi-morbidities will be a benefit.
North East Sunderland, Tyne & Wear
This modern city-centre site has three local practices under one roof. It serves a variety of patient demographics including paediatric, women’s health and dependency issues. The practice is multi-award winning and prides itself on putting the patient at the heart of everything they do.

this is a large GP surgery offering NHS primary care services.
The practice was established in 1954 as part of The University of Manchester. In 2011 they became independent, but we still provide the same high quality care and maintain links with the University. We offer our service to all local people, including students.
Greater Manchester Bolton, Greater Manchester
This practice is part of a group of 37 GP practices across the North West and the practices have recorded some of the highest patient satisfaction levels. Serving a mixed community of rural villages and suburban communities, family medicine is particularly of benefit.
Cheshire and Merseyside Chester, Cheshire
This small surgery is a friendly well established GP training practice. All their doctors, nurses and administrative staff are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. It is located in an area with a high aging population.
Cheshire and Merseyside Liverpool, Merseyside
The location of this practice means it serves a high student population. Experience of mental-health is an advantage. They are a leading practice in GP training so you would get exposure to trainee GPs and leading NHS training professionals.
Yorkshire Leeds, West Yorkshire
This Practice is a well-established NHS General Practice split between two main sites (City centre and rural) and also has a smaller part-time branch surgery. Rural medicine is an advantage, but with a high population of families, paediatric and women’s clinic experience would also be valued.
Yorkshire Harrogate, North Yorkshire
This practice is situated in an area with a high proportion of care home living and delivers clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
