Profession: Cat. CE truck driver

Main responsibility: Transportation of goods on euro pallets in the Benelux and Germany

Types of truck: Renault mostly up to 6 years old with automatic gear transmission

Types of trailer(s): Curtain sider and temperature controlled trailer. Only backside loaded

Trips: Mostly between NL and DE, but also through the Benelux

Day/night work: Day, starting sometimes at 03:00/04:00 AM (in the morning)

Number of addresses per day : 2 – 6 between Distribution Centres (for example LIDL DC`S)

Work schedule: In a negotiable system (8:2/10:2/12:2)
Working Period : Whole year long

Communication with dispatch: By WhatsApp with private phone

Only EU citizens
Driving license: Valid CE License
Additional courses: Code95 for Cat. CE
Additional papers: Drivers card (tachograph)
Experience as a frigo truck driver: Yes, at least 3 years required
Knowledge of foreign languages: Good Level English
Other requirements: Experienced with (un)loading by EPT and experience with frigo trailer
Representativeness: NO tracksuits/gym suits allowed to wear while at work
Age: Any age

➡️ Salary information

Basic salary: € 17,30 p.h.
Reservations (extra/bonus on top): 10,82% paid holiday & 8.33% holiday money and 1.38% ADV
Overtime percentages: Basic overtime: 130% / Saturday: 150% / Sunday: 200%
Total working hours per week: 60 (around 10 – 12 hours a day)
Total working days per week: 5 – 6
Compensations: Subsistence allowance (compensation for being in the truck away from base) €63,- nett per 24 hours.

Weekly salary after costs: € 1100,- average net (depends on the working hours) + reservations ( on top is holiday money, paid holiday and ADV)

Weekly costs: Health insurance € 38,-

Payment of salary: Every week on Friday

➡️ Additional Information

For our client in the Netherlands we are looking for experienced truck drivers CE Category. It`s a stable job for all seasons in a small family company with around 10 trucks, where most drivers are Dutch. What we are searching for, is a social person who likes to engage with the company and its people in order to create a friendly and a pleasant working atmosphere.

The trips are between DC`s in a combination of temperature controlled and curtain sider trailers. Most goods are transported on euro pallets and it will happen that the driver has to (un)load his goods by EPT. Although it has to be said, that most of the (un)loading is automated. Also it can happen even on daily basis, that you will be asked to (un)couple a trailer (usually never more than once a day).

Weekends are spent on the base in Tiel, where toilettes and a shower can be used. Also the private car can be parked in Tiel on a safe parking lot.

We have to mention also the fact that the transport company expects their drivers to dress themselves properly and keep their truck clean and tidy. Dress code while at work: regular clothes, for example jeans. So no jogging trousers or any clothes that belong in the gym. For the start the driver is expected to bring his own safety shoes.
